CONTEST TIME!!

Hi everyone!

Today is one month to the release date of PIECES OF US!! Wahoo!! To celebrate and get everyone hyped up (or to spread my hype….), I’m throwing a contest! Winners will receive a signed ARC of POU and a signed copy of POU! Contest will run until February 29. Here is how it works.

1. Go to Flux’s website and read the excerpt from PIECES OF US. This is from the final copy and it’s different than the ARC! So some of it has never been seen before!

2. THEN, come back here and leave a comment about what you read.

3. And that is it. 🙂 Canada and U.S. entrants only, please. Oh, and please spread the word!

Wow, Pieces of Us is going to be a tough read for me. Just the little bit in the excerpt is disturbing to read, but I must say, very well written and powerful and I like the mixture of characters.

This excerpt fascinates me on so many levels. Soon, I realized what was going to happen with the chicken, but hoped against hope, seeing myself -unknowing- in the young girl who thought she’d be getting a pet chicken. Love what I am learning about not only different areas – hey I live in NJ and did not know about cherries being there or not when it was founded – but also about how seamlessly you turn your words into magic time! I am so looking foward to reading more!

What a wonderful beginning with the chickens and how they served to develop your characters so quickly! I didn’t want to stop reading. I love your description of the setting (I’m from NJ, too) and how each chapter has such a distinctly different voice.

Wow. That excerpt was seriously intense, especially the first chapter. I have to say: WARNING, do not be eating when reading it! I also love the different point of views and I already like Julie and Katie the most 🙂 I can’t wait to read this.

Okay so I’ve read it on Netgalley, but you already know how I feel about this book, and would love a signed copy. So intense!

It just blew me away right from the beginning. Definitely unsettling but I’m very intrigued. Going on my wishlist for sure!

Wow, wow, WOW! I love this. How great it would be to win a signed copy! The characters already have me reeled in, and I’m eager to know what will happen in their lives as the story progresses – especially between Julie and Katie.

A good story is one you can read over and over again, knowing the ending and still cringing and laughing and crying along the way, and I think this looks like one of those stories!

I would truly love to win a copy of this book soooo badly!!!! I agree w/ jen……..this is gonna be a very hard read for me too. It’s already been really emotional in the small excerpt. I am a single mother of 3 & run a small daycare outta my little apartment. I can’t really afford to buy any of my kids new books these Days. I want this book so badly because I have a 12 yr old daughter who is constantly being picked on & bullied. It breaks my heartt every single day! I think this book would help in so many ways………help me relate to her better, show her she’s not alone, show her she’ll be okay, & teach her how to better deal with her situation. It’ll teach me how to better deal with it too. As her mom, I just wanna go to her school & beat those kids butts lol!! But I know that won’t help or be the right thing to do. Please help me to win a copy of your book!!! I would be eternally gateful!!!
